TAFE NSW offers intensive English language courses at government-owned and operated English Language Centres across NSW. Students can improve reading, writing, speaking and listening skills to assist in the preparation for future study and employment.

TAFE NSW English Language Centre locations

The six English Language Centres are located throughout Sydney and regional NSW.

English Language Centres in Sydney: Liverpool, Meadowbank, Ultimo.
English Language Centres outside Sydney: Coffs Harbour Education Campus (CHEC), Kingscliff, Newcastle, Wollongong.

New students can start on Monday of any week, although at some centres, sessions start every five weeks.

How long should I study English?

The length of time your English course will depend on your English proficiency at the time of entry, your progress during the course and the entry requirements for the course that you wish to study afterwards.
